WELCOME to the recently relocated medical practices of Dr. Rocco R. Tutela, specializing in Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery and Dr. Arthur C. Tutela, II, specializing in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery.

Their practices carry on the Tutela tradition of healing, which began with the patriarch, Dr. Arthur C. Tutela, a dedicated family practitioner for over 50 years in Newark and Short Hills, New Jersey. He also served as Captain, in the US Army Medical Corps during World War II, in which he was awarded the Bronze Star for his ability, courage and unswerving devotion to duty and the Purple Heart for wounds received in action.

His son, Rocco R. Tutela, MD, followed in his footsteps of top-notch patient care by opening his plastic surgery practice in 1976. This ongoing medical tradition continues with all of Dr. Rocco’s sons:

Rocco R. Tutela, Jr., MD, Board Certified General Surgeon, who specializes in trauma, critical care and hepatobiliary surgery at North Shore University Hospital in New York.

John Paul Tutela MD, a current resident in General Surgery at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York City.
